n hindsight I would have loved to have started officiating at an earlier age, but … that wasn’t how things worked out. Conversely, there are officials who start working games in college, or earlier, but then may transition out of officiating.
Today, you’ll meet a former, multi-sports' official who somewhat fits that description. Oh, he still enjoys football but has relegated his officiating to the basketball court. Here, as you read through my interview with Mark LeFlore, Sr, think about your own situation and the need to strike a healthy balance among officiating, family, work — and everything else. I think you’ll agree that for many of us, Mark provides an excellent role model.
