n hindsight I would have loved to have started officiating at an earlier age, but … that wasn’t how things worked out. Conversely, there are officials who start working games in college, or earlier, but then may transition out of officiating.

Today, you’ll meet a former, multi-sports' official who somewhat fits that description. Oh, he still enjoys football but has relegated his officiating to the basketball court.
